Some Great Canadian's in Estonia

June 27: Sunday
Sunday was a little tedious. We were up till 3 am the night before with the youth service. That was awesome and those young adults really showed some talent, dedication, and hard work. The services were tedious and I was tired. We finally went home with a missionary couple from Canada. Corrie and Dawn. They have a great testimony also which I’ll share later.

June 28:
Corrie dropped Nathan and I off in Old Town and we spent the day getting film footage all around the 700 year old city. While having a late lunch of oversized pancakes with bananas we ran into some friends from the youth group. They ate with us and walked with us around Old Town. At one of the 700 year old churchs we visited we ran into another girl, Mare, from the conference. We had a great time and got to go up into the huge tower steeple and outside to the railing. At one time it was the highest point in Europe. It was built by King Olaf of Norway. Dawn made a great dinner and we had a good conversation. Corrie has been blessed with a great thinking mind with the ability to write. I see him writing a book soon. We watched Zoolander that night, it was pretty funny.

June 29: Tuesday
We woke up to company in the next room. Someone from Canada had stopped in to say hello to the Block’s. He stayed briefly, dropped off a care package, and was on his way on his bicycle. We stayed at the house most of the day. I caught up on emails and did some reading. Later that day we went to one of their youth meetings. In the open air in a parking lot they had 2 youth bands play for a few hours. The music was loud and they showed some real promise. They do it to break down the walls of what they think Christianity is. They dont give an alter call but at the end they pass out flyers to the youth group they are starting in the area. That night we watched Lord of the Rings and feasted on Magic sticks and Kvas. Its like coke but made with potatoes so it has a vodka/potatoe flavor but without the alcohol. I really liked it.
